Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Gentle, restorative therapy to reduce swelling, support immunity, and ease tension.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialized hands-on therapy that encourages the body’s natural lymph flow. Using gentle, rhythmic movements, Kathy supports detoxification, eases swelling, and promotes relaxation of the nervous system. MLD can be deeply restorative for those with edema, immune challenges, or chronic tension. For a full reset, Kathy also offers a 2-hour session that includes face and scalp massage, full-body treatment, and dry brushing for $300. Packages are available for ongoing support, including 8 sessions at 90 minutes each for $900.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits & Scheduling A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your appointment. This deposit confirms your commitment and allows Kathy to hold your session time exclusively for you. Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a future appointment or another person if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment are not eligible for refund or transfer, except in the case of a documented medical emergency, where a refund or credit may be issued at the practitioner’s discretion. If you do not show up for your scheduled session without notice, your deposit will be forfeited. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in restrictions on future bookings. Arrival & Late Policy Please arrive on time for your appointment to ensure you receive your full session. If you arrive late, your session may need to end at the originally scheduled time out of respect for the next client. Hygiene & Sobriety Clients are expected to arrive clean, sober, and in a state conducive to receiving care. If a client arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or in an unhygienic state, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit forfeited. This maintains a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both client and practitioner. Health & Medical Considerations Please inform Kathy of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or recent surgeries prior to your session. If you have concerns about your ability to participate safely, it is your responsibility to consult with your healthcare provider before your appointment. Massage, yoga, and energy work are complementary therapies — they are not substitutes for licensed medical treatment. Liability & Responsibility By booking a session, you agree to take responsibility for your own body and well-being. You are encouraged to communicate openly during your session and to move mindfully, modifying or pausing if you experience discomfort. Participation in any massage, yoga, or energy work session is voluntary and at your own risk. Kathy Jansen and Spirit of the River Yoga are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation. Environment & Professional Standards All services are offered in a calm, professional space. Respectful communication and boundaries are essential to maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for healing.
